Important Update Regarding COVID-19

Dear Families and Loved Ones,

Should I move into assisted living during this time?

Based on guidance from public health experts, Indiana government officials have released visitation guidelines and considerations for outdoor visitation at senior living communities. This time has been difficult for everyone, so a heartfelt thank you for helping us to keep your loved one safe.

We look forward to the first step of reopening, and we ask that you continue to work with us and to remember we are here to assist in any way possible during this transition.

With this in mind, we appreciate your attention to the following visitation requirements:

  • Please check with your community regarding scheduling visitation times in advance.
  • All visitors must sign in, provide contact information, will be screened and temperaturesShould I move into memory care during this time? taken upon arrival.
  • All visitors and residents will visit a hand sanitizing station.
  • Outdoor visitation spaces must allow appropriate social distancing of at least 6 feet between visitors and loved ones.
  • Both residents and visitors will wear a surgical mask or cloth face covering for the duration of the visit, with special accommodations when this is not possible for residents.
  • Visitors may provide food and beverage to the resident consistent with dietary considerations, but food should not be shared between residents and visitors.
  • Visitation should be restricted to children 12 years of age or older. Visitors with children must be able to manage them, and children must be able to wear a face mask during the entire visitation.
  • A schedule of visitation hours will be established.

A beautiful building is important.
But it’s what happens inside that makes all the difference.

"We provide care and services to the most vulnerable population. The pandemic only magnified the need for healthy, loving employees. We knew we would need all hands on deck. They have done an excellent job in preventing the necessary daily activities and precautions from crowding out the important things that impact our residents' quality of life."
