I am a professional entertainer for seniors, with a degree in Music Therapy, and I am asked to perform regularly at Traditions of Columbus. I visit nearly everywhere but I must say that Traditions is one of my favorites. Their events are on a grand scale with much going on, including food served by the Administrative Staff (which is unheard of anywhere else!) I have been asked to perform out front, in the lounge, in the dining room, outside the dining room in a heated or cooled patio, in the Activity Room, and for Memory Care - both inside and outside in their Courtyard. The place is amazing and the staff's creativity and concentration on providing variety for their residents is outstanding.

My grandparents had been married for over 60 years. After my grandfathers passing, my grandma was so distraught that she started to develop a form of dementia due to the stress and anxiety of my grandfather not being there by her side. We hated to do it but finally decided to put her into a memory care unit. It took trying out multiple facilities for short periods of time before we found Traditions of Columbus. Right when we walked in, we knew this was going to be the best place for my grandma to be. The beautiful building and architecture paired with most careful staff, this would lay out to be the best place for my grandmother to spend her last years on this earth. We can’t thank them enough for what they’ve done to keep my grandmother happy and healthy!

We moved my grandmother into assisted living about 6 months ago. We knew we made the right decision after getting to know the staff and other residents. My grandma has been the happiest since my grandpa died 2 years ago. We are all very happy with the care and attention she receives. As one of her only grandkids and living out of state, I can rest assured that she will have the best care. The units are amazing and allows me to spend time and visit her without being too crowded and invading her space. I recommend the Traditions of Columbus to anyone who is worried about their elderly loved ones! I can not express how happy we are with everyone and everything!

My mother has been a resident at Traditions in the beautiful memory care unit for two years as of May 2023. Being a type A person, I thoroughly checked out all options available in Bartholomew County. I am thrilled with her care, understanding, compassion, and willingness to work with me to figure things out as they occur. They have always been there for us in a myriad of ways. Thank you Traditions! You have been a blessing.

Overall I think they had wonderful service, great food, and the building looks fantastic inside and out. This is 10/10 a great place for loved ones!

As our population grows older many adult children are caring and supporting their aging parents. I have found that there are little in resources for helping determine how to care for their needs. It was a difficult and stressful time deciding when and where I would downsize my parents home but not downsize their social life. Traditions of Columbus was my welcomed resource. Once I welcomed their advice and knowledge life became so much easier. Traditions has since supported the passing of my father. They have supported my mother as she finds a new normal. I am grateful for the people at Traditions of Columbus and urge people to bring their questions. To really ask those questions that float around that seem so silly because these are the people that will help you answer them! Best to those who are on this journey.

I absolutely love working at Traditions!! All the staff truly care about our residents and go the extra mile to make it feel like home. The residents are like family. I would recommend it to anyone, including my own loved ones!

I have been the Activity Director at Traditions of Columbus for a year. I enjoy working here the management team is awesome! The staff are so loving and caring to our residents! It really is a team atmosphere. Highly recommend!

I went to Traditions of Columbus. I like that they have private rooms right now. I don't know what they're doing in the future, but right now you have your own room there, and they have memory care there just in case later in life someone needs it, and that's perfect. You don't have to move the patient elsewhere. And then hospice can come in there, or you can take them to hospice outside of there. It's a very wonderful, beautiful facility. And the lady, her name was Ariel, spoke with me, and she answered every question that I had and was very thorough and explained everything. The rooms are larger. They have a theater room and a pub there.

The staff is kind and gentle. The place is clean. They offer activities. The food looks good, but I haven't tried it. I would recommend them to friends and family.

Hey Stacey, I do always like to share when your staff have gone over and above their jobs. Today my dad, John Skinner, noticed the flashing red light that is the security on his car. He was concerned about what the flashing light meant. In his great panic he noticed one of the lawn guys working outside and went to get his assistance. The guy was very kind, he could see that my dad could not be consoled by just talking to him. The guy obediently followed my dad and looked at the light. He did not know what it meant and directed my dad to ask someone who might know better. I do not know what his name was but he handled the situation great and was positive and kind.

I do want to also mention to you something that came up with another family that is dealing with aging parents. When asked about Traditions, I was asked the one thing that I liked the most. Given sometime to think about it I realized that I am a completely different person now then I was before moving my parents to Traditions. I have so much more peace in my life. I truly believe I feel this way because I have the confidence that “you have this.” I do not worry about their safety, security, or wellbeing because I know that I am no longer alone in caring for them. Thank you and know that I am grateful for Traditions of Columbus.

Traditions of Columbus is beautiful, the staff are all outstanding, particularly our director, Stacey. The food is good. There are lots of things to do. It's fantastic!

We love our cottage and the main building. The food is great. The staff is professional and very friendly. I would encourage other family members and friends to move there!

My mom is moving into Traditions of Columbus this Monday. They seem extremely caring. It's a beautiful and gorgeous facility, and we couldn't believe how much more reasonable it is than some of the other facilities we checked out. We visited both the assisted and memory care unit and they were both wonderful. The person who toured me was knowledgeable, caring and wanted to help in any way possible. They didn't invite us for a meal when we went there, but they sent us a postcard today in the mail about a barbecue for next Friday.

My tour at Traditions of Columbus was about an hour and ten minutes long, and it was just wonderful. The staff was very friendly, and the woman who took us around was extremely good. They're not open to the public yet. We toured the assisted living and all of the independent living areas, which are separate from the assisted living building. They all have people in them. They have a place to watch movies and a place to congregate to watch TV. They have a nice dining area where you can order off of a menu, and they have waiters and waitresses, which I think is such a nice idea. They have a beauty parlor upstairs, and they're getting ready to get someone in there, but it's all set up. They have a workout area, and they're getting ready to set it up, too; it's not completely set up yet. I absolutely love it; I was so impressed with the whole setup. And the rooms were just very nice. It's beautiful.

What a warm and welcoming place. Very caring and attentive staff. Lots of great activities for residents with a lovely dining experience.
